Mini-Sox - 6U
For Girls with Playing Ages
4 to 7		 Designed to teach the basic skills.  All girls play and learn the game of softball, develop a team attitude and above all else... 
HAVE FUN!

The pitching distance is 25 feet. Mini-Sox has their own set of safety rules but girls learn to hit first off the tee, then off a Staff Pitcher and by the end of the season, off a Player Pitcher.
 
This division provides a chance for the girls to play in a more competitive arena than Mini-Sox, enhance their fastpitch fundamentals and make lasting friendships!

For Girls with Playing Ages 7 to 9

The pitching distance is 32 feet.
No drop third strike.
3 Runs for the first 3 innings.

Bobby Sox 10U
For Girls with Playing Ages 9 to 11
All girls play two innings on defense and bat the entire game.
The pitching distance is 36 feet.
3 Runs for the first 3 innings.

Bobby Sox 12U
For Girls with Playing Ages 11 to 13
All girls play three innings on defense and bat the entire game.
The pitching distance is 40 feet.
No playing rule restrictions.

For Young Ladies with Playing Ages 13 to 15
This division provides an opportunity to compete at a highly competitive level.
The pitching distance is 40 feet.
All girls play three innings on defense and bat the entire game.

American Girl 16U/18U
For Young Ladies with Playing Ages 15 to 19
This division provides the most competitive level of play available.
The pitching distance is 40 feet.
All girls play three innings on defense and bat the entire game.

All Bobby Sox and American Girl playing divisions use the same basic set of softball rules used by high schools throughout the U.S.A., with the exception of minimal restrictions in 8U and 10U.
